What it is
productronica is a trade fair for electronics development and production. It runs every two years at the Messe München fairgrounds. The topic areas are PCB and EMS, SMT, cables, coils and hybrids, semiconductor, future production and overall production support. The 2025 edition had three lead themes: advanced packaging, power electronics and trusted microelectronics.

The show covers electronics manufacturing from PCB assembly to semiconductor production. The organizer reported more than 47,000 visitors from 98 countries at the 2025 edition. Top visitor countries after Germany were Italy, Austria, France, the UK, Switzerland, China, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.
