What it is

Blechexpo is the international trade fair for sheet metal working, held every two years at Messe Stuttgart. It covers the process chain from cutting, punching, bending and forming to joining, plus semi-finished sheet, tube and profile products. The 18th edition runs together with the 11th Schweisstec, the joining technology fair, on the same dates.

Who attends

Manufacturing and engineering staff at sheet metal, tube and profile processors, and at users of joining and welding technology. Organizer reports show exhibitors from 41 countries in 2025, with 43% from outside Germany.

Go ifYou sell machines, tools, automation, laser or welding systems, or sheet and coil material to metal fabricators, and you want German and DACH buyers in one hall complex.

Skip ifYou do not sell to metal fabrication, or you need a yearly event. The fair is biennial, so the next one after 2027 is 2029 at the earliest, and tickets open only about six weeks before the show.
