What it is

Automate is the largest robotics and automation show in North America, run by the Association for Advancing Automation. It pairs a show floor of robots, machine vision, motion control and industrial AI with a paid conference. The 2027 edition moves to Las Vegas, after the 2026 edition in Chicago.

Who attends

Professionals from manufacturing and other industries adopting robotics, AI, machine vision, motion control and industrial automation, plus students and educators through A3 programs. A3 reported more than 50,000 registrants for the 2026 show. A3 does not publish a buyer-title breakdown.

Go ifYou sell robots, vision, motion control, safety, software or integration services to manufacturers and logistics operators. You want a very large North American floor. Book meetings in advance, because the show floor is large.

Skip ifYou sell to buyers outside automation and manufacturing, or you need a small senior-only event. Skip if your budget cannot cover Las Vegas travel and booth costs.
