What it is

OFC is the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition. The 2027 technical conference runs March 7 to 11 and the exhibition runs March 9 to 11, both at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The exhibition covers optical networking, specialty fiber, optical components and devices, and software. Exhibition theater programs include Market Watch, a Network Operator Summit and a Data Center Summit.

Who attends

The organizer describes the exhibition as the whole ecosystem of optical networking and communications, from fiber makers to component, device and software suppliers. Its 2027 topics include AI in the data center, quantum networking, space optics and subsea networks. The homepage shows 19,000 attendees from 73 countries, but does not name an edition.

Go ifYou sell optical components, test equipment, photonic design software or fiber products to network equipment makers, data center operators and network operators. The Network Operator Summit and Data Center Summit also help sellers who target carriers and hyperscale buyers.

Skip ifYou sell general IT or software outside optical and photonic networking. The technical conference is research heavy, and registration prices are not yet published, so budget is hard to plan today.

Is there an exhibitor list for OFC?

Yes. The organizer publishes the exhibitor list on Map Your Show. The official rendered homepage labels OFC 2027 with 750 exhibitors; organizer promotional figure, not a final count.

Can I get the attendee list for OFC?

Organizers rarely publish one. EarlyHall builds it from public sources: exhibitor and speaker pages and social posts, plus the event app when you give us access. Each person is tagged with their role at the event and the source we found them in, and a listing is never presented as confirmed attendance. Lists start at $349 per event.
