What it is
MedtecLIVE is a trade fair for suppliers to the medical technology industry. It covers product development, components, materials, contract manufacturing, automation, digitalization, AI and EU regulation such as MDR and IVDR. It is held every two years in Stuttgart, and the next edition is 20 to 22 June 2028. The 2026 edition ran from 5 to 7 May.
Who attends
The organizer reports more than 4,000 decision-makers and project managers from medical technology manufacturers and distributors at the 2026 edition, up 9% on the previous one. Exhibitors are suppliers and service providers, so visitors are mostly buyers of components, materials and services for device manufacture.
