What it is
Global Industrie is described by the organizer as France's largest industrial event, now in its 9th edition. It covers 15 sectors, from machining, sheet metal and welding to robotics, additive manufacturing, electronics and measurement. The show is held in Paris in even years and Lyon in odd years, so 2027 returns to Lyon and fills all of Eurexpo. It adds new areas called Industrial Futures and Booster, and runs a conference stage, pitch areas and awards alongside the exhibition.
Who attends
Manufacturers, subcontractors, engineers, buyers and decision-makers from French and European industry, plus students and job seekers. The organizer says industrial decision-makers make up about 50% of visitors and that 91 countries are represented. An Arena for 8,000 young people is also planned, so not every badge holder is a buyer.
