What it is
ACHEMA is the world forum for chemical and pharmaceutical engineering, process engineering, biotechnology and industrial environmental technology. It runs every three years in Frankfurt and combines a very large exhibition with a congress programme. The 2027 edition adds an Energy Innovation Stage and a stronger life science focus.

Process industry professionals from chemicals, pharma, biotech, food and energy, plus engineers, plant operators and buyers of lab, pumps, valves and packaging equipment. The organizer reports that a third of the 106,001 participants in 2024 came from pharma and life sciences, and that more than 140 nations are represented.
